Dr. Roy C. Reese
The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Roy C. Reese, holds a Doctor of Divinity (DD) from Liberty University and is presently completing his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He is also a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) and has spent 20 years as a life coach, a mentor to neighborhood youth, a community activist, and a spiritual counselor. Dr. Reese’s therapeutic focus is on individuals, couples, and family therapy, and anyone presently suffering from substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, self-esteem, or who just needs someone to listen. Dr. Reese is a member of (PSI CHI), The National Clergy Association, and a trainer at the Chicago Recovery Alliance.
Dr. Christine Lang
Dr. Christine Lang, the Clinical Executive Director, attained her Illinois State Clinical Psychology license in 2018. She is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. She received her Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has been in private practice in Chicago since 2014. Dr. Lang is a co-trainer for the Chicago Recovery Alliance, providing training and consultations to Addictions Counselors. She served on the board and was vice-president of the Ex-offender Transition Center in Chicago. She is additionally a member of The International Honor Society in Psychology (PSI CHI), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Human Services Honor Society (Tau Upsilon Alpha). She is listed as a referral psychologist with each of the above organizations.
Candace Crisman
Candace Crisman, the Business/Marketing Administrator, completed her Master’s in directing theater at DePaul University. Her passion, however, has led to over 20 years of work with start-up businesses and nonprofits, helping them develop a strong and integrated base across departments and services and develop and educate staff about best practices, fundraising, human resources, and board development. She has worked as a consultant and an employee with numerous Chicagoland nonprofits, helping them to develop new funding streams, expanding their marketing capabilities, and building community partnerships.
